Pearson VUE is allowing essential workers to take the exam if you can show proof of your letter from the commissioner of your state stating that you are essential. 

Here is the thing I have not yet heard anyone of POWER MENTION MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL’s AS ESSENTIAL.

This initiative started with just me and All it took was one person to believe in me thank you Roberta. Now we have a few other campaigners from Florida, Louisiana, NYC and Maryland who has rallied together putting in an effort to create a change without expecting anything in exchange. Win or lose this is about creating a movement across the states to help social workers and other mental health professionals to become recognized for the work that we do for others and the many lives we have changed and have touched throughout our life path that lead US here. Because for most and for some this isn’t a career or just a job this is love, growth, and purpose.  This is about saving humanity while finding the same compassionate we give to others for ourselves. We are suffering just the same. We don’t do this for the money or the gain, what we do is an act of selflessness everyday. 

The ASWB, NASW or Pearson VUE does not care about US ALL THEY care about IS the $$$$ because if they did why are they still accepting applications and scheduling test dates when the economy is on the Brink of failing and confused about whether or not we closed or open. They should be waiving the fees. They want us to exhibit integrity and dignity to be honest why are they not LEADING BY EXAMPLE. Most states do not even consider US TO BE ESSENTIAL where is the respect and justice in that. 

At least if they can’t help let US SHOW UNITY TO UPLIFT OUR PROFESSION.
