IMPLEMENTATION PLAN 2017-2022
Action:
Request the NCCA to develop a draft Leaving Certificate specification in Mandarin Chinese for non-native speakers, which would follow on from the junior cycle short course in Chinese Language and Culture.
The first Leaving Certificate examination to be set by SEC for 2022.
Time scale:
For completion 2019, followed by implementation by September 2020 for examination from 2022
