DUMBO neighbors, this petition has been live for ~3 weeks now and we're at 259 signatures. While this is a good start, we need a much stronger community response in order to sway the decision makers. DUMBO has ~5000+ residents, so we're barely at 5% of the community.

This petition is one of the few opportunities that we as DUMBO residents have a meaningful voice in to move the needle on this rampant illegal & unsanitary vending issue. Spring is right around the corner, meaning the vendors are already prepping their carts for a busy next 8 months tourist season. We need enforcable mechanisms in place to achieve some semblance of balance in our community with these vendors, so please please please socialize this petition with your neighbors.
