We need to stop #MobJustice in our society

Let's be honest....we have a problem with #MobJustice in our country:

• Sen. Al Franken was railroaded from the Senate on the basis of allegations of boorish behavior, with no due process -- see attached article: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/07/29/the-case-of-al-franken
• Colleges have so-called Kangaroo Courts that rely on "trauma informed" and "Start By Believing" theories: http://www.saveservices.org/camp/sbb/
• Nearly one in 10 Americans report they have been falsely accused of sexual assault, domestic violence, or child abuse: http://www.saveservices.org/falsely-accused/survey/
• Over 2,400 persons have been exonerated from a crime they did not commit: http://www.law.umich.edu/special/exoneration/Pages/about.aspx

Lives are being ruined. The notion of "justice" lies in tatters. If this isn't the face of modern-day #MobJustice, what is?

Today, please call your members of Congress at (202) 224-3121. Tell them to restore due process, fairness, and the presumption of innocence. Tell them to bring a halt to #MobJustice.
