Palestine is still relevant

Hi friends - thanks so much for signing & sharing! At 6,800+ signatures, are getting ever closer to our goal of 10,000! To get there, we have to keep up the momentum: to look away or lose interest while our tax dollars continue to fund genocide is to be complicit.

Here are some political developments since we started this petition:

• May 21: the US State Dept granted Boeing the license to deliver the arms despite awareness about legislative opposition to the sale.
• June 3: Israeli police has conducted over 2,142 arrests of people involved in Palestinian resistance efforts.
• June 11-13: the G7 Summit happens in Cornwall, and there is no mention of Israel-Palestine.
• June 13: Naftali Bennett, the new prime minister of Israel, begins his term as an ultra nationalist who intends on expanding settlements.
• June 15: The ceasefire ends with Israel bombing Gaza on Jerusalem Day.  

We can make the easy choice to accept the weapons sale as inevitable, or we can decide it’s still unacceptable.
