Dear Valued Supporter.
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing this email to express my sincere gratitude to all our wonderful supporters who have been a part of our mission to combat anti-Semitism and protect the Jewish community. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in bringing us closer to our goal of 500 signatures for the petition "Inaction is Not an Option: Combating Antisemitism and Protecting the Jewish Community."
I am pleased to share that with your help, we have already reached a milestone of 403 signatures. This is a significant achievement, but we are still short of 97 signatures to reach our next goal. I am confident that with your continued support, we will be able to surpass our target and make a real difference in our fight against anti-Semitism.
As I scroll through social media, I see disturbing images and videos of hate crimes against the Jewish community. Just recently, I came across a distressing incident on Facebook where a Jewish customer was refused service at Office Works. For those of you who may not be familiar with Office Works, it is a well-known store in Australia that sells a wide range of office equipment and stationery. They also offer laminating services.
The customer had gone to Office Works to get some laminating done for a newspaper featuring articles about Jewish athletes in the Olympics. However, he was denied service simply because of his religion. This is a clear example of the discrimination and intolerance that we, as a society, need to address urgently. It is why signing and sharing our petition and others like it are crucial in bringing about change.
We cannot let such incidents become commonplace. Therefore, I urge you to take action by signing the petition and encouraging your friends and family to do the same. Additionally, you can also write to your local members of parliament and raise your concerns regarding the rising levels of anti-Semitism in our society. Every small step counts, and together, we can make a difference.
Once again, thank you for your support and dedication. Let us continue to spread the message of love, acceptance, and unity. With your help, I am confident that we will reach our goal and create a better and safer world for the Jewish community.
Sincerely,
Sarah Gomez
