Help us demand safe veterinary care and accountability for substandard veterinarians!

If your companion animal dies as a result of substandard veterinary care in Ontario, and you make a formal complaint to the veterinary governing body, odds are likely that your vet will get "advice" even if his or her actions caused harm or death. We know because we have experienced this. We want things to change. Please ask sympathetic pet owners you know to sign our petition. It is one thing to have your pet die tragically and unexpectedly; it's another thing to learn that a vet who was found by the CVO to have performed below standard received "advice" only. No caution. No admonishment. No remediation was required. There is no monitoring of her by the CVO, and the public has no access to information about this person, even though her poor judgment and substandard care caused our pet's death. Change is seriously overdue. The public and animals deserve better. Please help!
