Community services provide a safeguard in times of crisis

"When crises hit, it is community services that hold Tasmania steady."

But chronic underfunding is pushing this vital industry to breaking point and putting community safety at risk.

The #PrioritiseallTasmanians campaign shines a light on the real value of community services, through the stories of people whose lives have been changed by them, the workers who deliver care every day, and the communities that depend on them.

This Thursday 7 May, Kristie Johnston MP, Independent Member for Clark, will table the open letter in Parliament, calling on the Premier to back community services in the May Budget. We'll keep you posted around advocacy updates.
