The following message was sent to our District Board Members Via Email and Hesperia Unified School District Instagram Comments:

We’re demanding a call to action as according to the Mojave Air Quality Index report we have been fluctuating in air quality for the last few days. Students and teachers continue to be put at the forefront in moderate air conditions. This is unacceptable. Students do not want to have to make up work and parents do not want truancy poor grades nor sick children if otherwise preventable. We elected school board officials into office and are calling on you to act. You do not have to stop education as we have seen temporary online learning during Covid-19. We will remember how the school board acted swiftly to protect students and teachers when it is time for re-election. If we know we can count on you to keep our school community safe at this time then you can count on us when it is time for us to decide who we want governing our schools. Thank you for your commitment to keep our students and teachers safe. We won’t forget.

*To everyone (students parents teachers friends and family) who signed and continues to bring awareness to this petition… Please utilize district board member emails and Socia Media to help get the word out. Together we make a difference. Thank you!
