The RDCO has officially refused to release Beau and is now petitioning the courts to have him euthanized. My only remaining option is to hire the lawyer I had a consultation with—someone who specializes in animal law and believes we have a fighting chance. But I need to come up with a $5,000 retainer by the end of this weekend to move forward.
