Thursday night, Mayor and Council will make a decision regarding the future of Crystal Pool.
A delay in the project affects all of us, but it most significantly hurts those in our community who have disabilities, or who are financially vulnerable.
There are 2 options on the table: move forward with the current plan, one that 80% of Victorians voted in favour of, or return to the beginning and conduct a feasibility study at a cost of $725,000, delaying the project by years.
I urge you to speak up and ask Mayor and Council to vote to move forward with the existing plan.
You can sign up to address council in person here: https://www.victoria.ca/EN/main/city/mayor-council-committees/council-webcasting/request-to-address-council/request-to-address-council-form/request-to-address-council-confirmation.html
You can also send a letter to here: mayorandcouncil@victoria.ca
Thank you for standing up for your community!
