Thank you for signing my petition to save my family home in the North Side neighborhood of St. Louis. The NGA is considering several locations for a new headquarters—my neighborhood is one of those sites, while the other options would displace no one. Since starting my petition, over 90,000 people from around the country have called for the NGA to remove our neighborhood from their list of possible relocation sites! I am truly humbled and touched by the outpouring of support. But our homes are still threatened and we need more help. Your 90,000 voices have fallen on deaf ears. We need to make our requests more visible. That is why we are planning a public demonstration, and inviting you to join us. On May 6, North Side residents, activists, and supporters will gather at the NGA’s St. Louis office to present our petition signatures and demand that the North Side be officially removed from the list of locations the NGA is considering.
