City of Miami has 40 plus dedicated tennis courts. How many dedicated pickleball courts does it provide its residents? Zero.

We love tennis and we would love to co-exist! 

We ask that 2 - 3 under utilized tennis courts of the 40 plus dedicated tennis courts in the City of Miami be carved out for pickleball.  Each tennis court can be converted into 4 pickleball courts!  This would service the need almost immediately!  This could be done at:

Moore Park that has 11 dedicated tennis courts and at

Morningside that has 8 dedicated tennis courts

This conversion would be a relief for residents while the Park Master Plan is being  approved by the Commission which may take several years.
