So much good news with the pool has happened over the past several weeks that it has been hard to keep up!
Thanks to supporters like you, kids, families, visitors, & residents of all ages and abilities will be swimming in a NEWLY REMODELED Veterans Memorial Pool THIS SUMMER! The construction bids are signed and the final approval by the Heritage Preservation Commission was completed last night - Thank you City of La Crosse!
"With the final hurdles of construction complete, city officials said the pool should be open by the end of May 2019". That leaves us only 215 days and counting till Memorial Day 2019!
In the coming weeks and months look for a ground breaking, the launch of our community campaign and other updates on the progress of construction. $500K of additional community-raised funds for pool equipment is what the City still needs our help with.
