Expectations

The Hinkle Creek Work Group sent letters to all the Folsom City Council candidates for November 2016 inviting them to meet with us and tour Hinkle Creek Nature Park. With the exception of Jeff Starsky, all candidates responded to our invitation and met with our Work Group. In America, we expect our elected officials to meet with their constituents. The elected officials may not always agree with and be able to support requests that the constituents present but as elected officials they should make themselves available to listen. Folsom is still a small town and the residents want to know that their City Council is listening to their concerns. Only one of our candidates did not meet that expectation and that was Jeff Starsky.
