The Minister of Forests was just on CBC Early Edition in Vancouver. We are past 1500 signees. He said the wildfire management policy is working well without the bombers. The question then is, would it work even better with it? They have spent double their $63 million budget in four of past five years. Would having Martin Mars on initial attack to knock fires down before they cost millions save the province money? I bet it would, don't you?
