MDDA will now leave the tea estates alone

Today's newspapers in Dehradun reported that in a meeting of the State Government held yesterday it was decided that Dehradun's Smart Cities project would NOT include the tea estates, and would focus instead on retrofitting of one of the zones. This is excellent news, and made possible only because of the relentless pressure of citizen's groups in Dehradun. Many congratulations and to them!
