Last October I met with a member of the Hull City of Culture team and put forward the need to include Changing Places toilets in the buildings that they were building and renovating. Emails passed to and fro, and a few weeks ago I learnt that Hull New Theatre and Trinity Market would get Changing Places. After reading the press release attached, I found that The Venue would be getting one too, (the one proposed at Woodford leisure centre was already in plans before I got in touch). As Hull is so near to me I am so glad that they have actioned these plans, and I hope that many people will benefit from these for years to come. I'm also trying to get Changing Places in a couple of other venues in the city so please do watch this space...
