Recently my campaign has been focused on getting as many Changing Places facilities into healthcare settings as possible. This has involved me emailing Government ministers, opposition ministers and various NHS organisations including hospital trusts and clinical commissioning groups. I have had some success. NHS property services who manage 10% of the NHS estate (mostly GP surgeries and community hospitals) in England have offered to support the campaign where they can and are to undertake a review of their design standards for refurbishments and new builds. I welcome their support wholeheartedly and thank them for it. On a more local level, Leeds General Infirmary are to build a Changing Places facility, as a result of my email. As for NHS England, they have now sent my email for consideration by their equality team, so keep fingers crossed everyone. I have also done another interview for Family Fund, I've copied a link here if anybody would like to read.
