Petition updateStop your lawsuit to bulldoze my longtime family home
NJ court says state can bulldoze my home, but the fight continues

Thank you everyone for your kind words and well wishes. Throughout this fight, the strength of so many people has buoyed our spirits in the face of such adversity.
Unfortunately, a few days ago we got some bad news.
The trial court ruled that the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) can take my home. It was a setback, for sure, but our attorneys at the Institute for Justice have already begun drafting an appeal and they remain confident that we’ll ultimately prevail. You can read the news here:

Gov. Chris Christie can bring this unjust and illegal assault on my property rights—and the property rights of many other Atlantic City residents—to an immediate end. As the governor of New Jersey, the buck stops with him. That’s why we’re bringing your petitions to his desk in December. If New Jersey’s court won’t stand up for property rights, we’re hopeful that Chris Christie will. We’ll keep you apprised of when and where we plan to deliver the petitions in another update.
Once again, thank you everyone for your support. We’re deeply honored.
Warm regards,
Charlie
