Wow, I haven’t checked this since middle 2021. Almost 35k signatures! Amazing! An update on the car and state referee. The ‘14 was sold and sold my project ‘03. Now I have a 2018 5.0. It is 100% stock aside from suspension and H Pipe with Flowmaster Mufflers. It pases emissions if need be. I don’t plan to do anything else to it’s performance. It’s perfect. I’ve heard that six CA cities will be implementing sound activated cameras to catch modified exhausts. I highly doubt these cameras will stay properly calibrated. You know the state referee has proper procedures as to how to measure the noise a vehicles exhaust system produces. How will a camera from 40 feet above catch that? Anyways, let’s keep the signatures coming. 

In regards to my state referee citation from Feb 2021. It’s been over a year and the officer never filed my citation on his end. So the Chatsworth courthouse turned me away multiple times. I want to add something. I can’t and will never condone any street racing and takeovers. You deserve to be punished to the fullest extent permitted by law for being so reckless and dangerous. I would referee and impound your vehicle too if I was a cop and caught you. I appreciate everyone’s support on this petition. It’s a compromise with emissions regulations and the car community. However, if you participate in any illegal/life threatening activities with your vehicle then I don’t want you apart of my goal. If your vehicle is heavily modified to where it’s emissions are tampered with then this revision of said vehicle code won’t really help you much. It’s only for noise restrictions. Please respect the streets and the people around you. I think it’s awesome that your vehicle is pushing crazy power, but do us a favor and take it to a race track if you want to push it. It’s the only way we will be able to make change. As an enthusiast we should not be afraid to report any takeovers or racing.
