Kwey, My lawyers Christ Big Canoe of Aboriginal Legal Services Toronto and Mary Eberts of The Law Office of Mary Eberts submitted our factum on June 13th, 2016. This was behind the scheduled date of May 13th. The Department of Justice now has the deadline of September 13th. My Court of Appeal for Ontario has been set for December 20th, 2016. In order to precede to the Court of Appeal an error of law must have been made. In addition to this we are moving ahead with new evidence. The court has been booked for 4 hours where my lawyers are permitted 2 hours and 30 minutes and INAC's lawyers, the Department of Justice, are permitted 1 hour and 30 minutes.
