Hi folks, 

I just want to say a massive thank you to thousands of Canadians who have signed on board to this petition and to the parliamentary petition. 

We are making significant progress in our push for legislative changes to the Competition Act to prevent the further monopolization of grocery stores and other key sectors. I'm also pleased to say that we are making headway in getting parliament to investigate Loblaw Companies and Galen Weston Jr for the price gouging and pandemic profiteering. I have some call's to action below to help keep things moving along. 

1. I recently shared on Twitter a thread breaking down the arugment that Loblaw and Galen Weston Jr stores are unionized and therefore pro-workers. We know better than to believe these type of straw man arguments. In the middle of the pandemic amidst soaring corporate profits, they cut hazard pay for PT and FT employees. All while Galen Weston Jr. made millions through his base salary and bonuses. You can read and share this thread here, and can follow me on Twitter here!
2. Sign the parliamentary petition to the House of Commons which should be presented in the House later this month by our awesome NDP MP Blake Desjarlais.
3. Share both the parliamentary petition and change.org petition with 5 friends or family members. If we all collectively do this we can add pressure on parliament to act.
