Dearest friends,

I would like to personally thank EACH and EVERY one of you for joining me in signing, promoting, sharing and supporting my petition to ask the ICC to allow former President Duterte to continue with the pending court case from his home in Davao.

As I have said all along, we are in the 21st century and the ICC should be able to use video conferencing for at least the initial stages of the pre-trial. It seems absurd to me that he was brought so quickly from the Philippines to the ICC. Even the BBC commented this all happened in record time, without any opportunity for his lawyers to object to his extradition from the Philippines.

At least our voices, sentiments and objections to this action by the ICC have now been heard. I will be sending an electronic copy of the petition as well as covering letter to the ICC, I will also be physically handing the said petition to the ICC in due course.

Maraming salamat for your sacrifices, time and tremendous efforts in showing our objections as well as concerns to the International Criminal Court.
