Total of 6 Chuckwagon Horses Dead at 2019 Calgary Stampede

In the 2019 Calgary Stampede there were 6 chuckwagon horse deaths. This is the same number of horses that died in the 2010 Calgary Stampede and these have been the 2 deadliest stampedes for horses since 2005. Things are not getting better in terms of safety for these chuckwagon horses! It is clear that this event can not and will not ever be safe for the horses!!
