We are meeting with the McDonald's UK CEO Paul Pomroy to discuss the petition in a couple of weeks. We are really excited but also feeling a bit scared about whether he will listen to us.

We really want to hear what he has to say about what we have asked them to do and any changes McDonald's are planning in relation to the Happy Meal in the UK.  We would also like McDonald's everywhere to make changes not just in the UK.  There is too much plastic already on the earth with nowhere for it all to go.  We don't want any more that we don't need.

We are also planning to contact Burger King soon and ask them about what is happening with the trial of the removal of Toys and their plans for more sustainable packaging and alternative toy solutions.
