My son and I attended last nights City Council Meeting and spoke during the Public Comment portion of the meeting.  I was able to show the Council Members some photos so they had an idea of what a pump track is.  I have not spoken to individual Councilmembers yet, but I know Bob Smith is a huge bicycle proponent and Andrae Gonzales has put a lot of energy into improving our parks.

After the meeting, a Gentleman from Parks & Rec came up to us and gave us his card stating that he would love to talk more so I'll take it as a win!

If you are able and willing, a quick public statement at the next City Council Meeting would go a long way.  Or if you live in the City, please consider writing your Councilmember an email stating your support for a City Pump Track.  You can find your Councilmember here:
