Hello everyone!
I had the privilege to speak at Brock University's Senate meeting today about re-opening plans. The majority of Brock staff present at the meeting seemed to be in favour of our views, however, Interim President Lynn Wells was not one of them. As it stands, she wants to move ahead with re-opening on January 31st, unless the situation gets worse (how much worse, I don't know).
This isn't over, yet, though. There are still almost 2 weeks until the gradual re-opening and the growth of this petition will strengthen our case. Our concerns have been heard and listened to by important staff members and I still have some hope.
