Because of the overwhelming public support, media attention, and advocacy from so many people across our community and beyond, meaningful progress is finally being made. The voices of over 1000 supporters have helped bring attention to the families of the F/V Lily Jean crew and the urgent need for answers and action. 

Governor Maura Healey has now formally requested U.S. Navy assistance on behalf of the families. This step forward would not have happened without the continued support, sharing, outreach, and compassion from so many people, including you.

While this is an important development, the process is not over. We are still asking the Navy to approve and consider this request to bring our loved ones home.

For our families, this has always been about humanity, dignity, and the chance to finally lay our loved ones to rest.
