John Rhys-Davies (Professor):
"The real reason we're here is we're trying to drum up the evidence support that we have to try and tickle, persuade, or even ding into the head of whoever owns Sliders and the rights of it so we can reboot it." Rather than the traditional reboot of recasting every character, John Rhys-Davies is hoping to do a continuation of the original cast and slowly implement new ones. In time, Jerry O'Connell would eventually be seen as the Professor figure.
