According to countless witnesses and evidence over the years, Kylie and Zac intentionally and severely abuse animals in various ways, resulting in injuries, permanent damage, and/or death. They blame their abuse on others.

Owners are not informed about their horses injuries and illnesses in a reasonable amount of time, if informed at all, and are lied to about how the injuries and illnesses occur. 

They create handmade devices that cause serious harm to horses and call them training tools despite the severe pain and behavioral issues they create. Examples include a piece of wood with spikes that dig into the horse's belly and a device that forces the horse's jaw out. Zac yanks back and uses his entire body weight to force horses to a stop which results in mouth sores and headshyness. Horses react negatively to their abuse, which results in a cycle of further mistreatment.

They starve horses as training methods and punishment and then claim various sicknesses to cover up the symptoms of starvation. They quickly overfeed some of their starved horses to hide that they starved them, which has resulted in various health problems.

Though her story changed from 8 years to 6, Kylie often brags about her and Zac's animal science degrees to validate their expertise in animal health and training, so they are fully aware of the extensive harm they inflict but continue anyway.
