Please spread the word to veterans: on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11th from 11am to 3pm, I  am hosting what I hope will eventually be approved as an Eagle Project - Connect a Pet with a Vet. Working with Bideawee adoption on 38th Street, just east of First Avenue, I am raising money to cover the adoption costs for pets for veterans. Please consider making a donation of any amount. I will also provide information about training animals to become therapy dogs. If you know of any dog training organizations that may be interested in supporting this project, please leave me their contact information. Bideawee also requests donations of leashes, harnesses, dog and cat toys and clean towels. Of course, please come visit and consider adopting a pet, even if you are not a veteran. We adopted our dog Scout from Bideawee. Scout has changed our lives for the better.
