Come and be part of the Down syndrome community gathering outside Parliament, at the George V Statue, on Friday afternoon from 1.30pm to support the Second Reading of the Down Syndrome Bill.  Dr Liam Fox will be with us to announce the outcome of his Bill at 2pm and to be interviewed by the press.

The more people the better, so come along for an hour or two and bring friends and family!  We will have placards, but you’re welcome to bring your own, try and wear our colours of pink and purple and meet like-minded people from around the country. Let’s show them we mean business!

We would like to show the world that the Down Syndrome Bill, that has government backing and is a world first, will be a turning point for the Down syndrome community, that it has mass support and that we will work together to make a better future for our community members.

THANK YOU for contacting your MPs; we had over 100 cross-party MPs attend our drop-in event in Parliament yesterday – an absolutely fantastic show of support and recognition of the Down syndrome community.
