I need your help! Will you send an urgent email to your MP asking them to #EndFoodPoverty?

I was on free school meals, so I know they are the difference between whether many young people eat or not. Last year, your signature helped force Boris Johnson to make a U-turn and extend them into the holidays — an incredible achievement that helped lay the groundwork for Marcus Rashford to pile on the pressure later in the year.

But the fight isn’t over. I recently saw a horrifying statistic that showed 1 million children in need are not eligible for free school meals, and even more don’t know where their next meal will come from — yet the Prime Minister has the chance to stop this. Right now, his Government is deciding how to spend tax-payers’ money for the next three years. I believe it’s urgent that they invest in policies that will end child food poverty.

Time’s running out: there’s just one week left to influence the spending review. If enough of us email our MP, it will put pressure on Boris Johnson to commit the hard cash to #EndFoodPoverty. Will you send an email now?
