There is absolutely no duedeligence and validation on the part of BMRCL when it comes to All Saints Church. Can we get an answer? Can BMRCL give a patient hearing from the community of All Saints Church?
- The main purpose of the underground metro is not to damage the property and trees especially in the commercial area where land is a rare commodity. But in the case of vellara junction, BMRCL is having a rampage of acquiring huge church land for what??? This need proper justification.
- By principle, the underground metro is supposed to go below the existing road. So why in our case of all saints church, it deviates and comes into the church land. To damage the property and trees?
- It is a worshipping place. BMRCL do need to value and respect the people sentiments and basic rights given in the constitution and not to bring disturbances to the place of worship
- The location of the metro station itself is wrong. How many people are going to get down there? How many office people will come there as it may cater to the Austin town residents only. How they will cross busy Richmond road if they have to go to brigade road .
- The both MG ROAD and Velara station doesn't help the Brigade ROAD and Ashok Nagar Commuters. For them both the stations are far. So ideally the station should have been in in brigade road/residency road junction. So enough thinking has not taken place
- BMRCL doesn't need these much space of permanent and temporary. Just to quote, a underground station in vidana southa, how much area they have taken? In chickpet and .........other stations how much area they have taken and used. So when it comes to All Saints Church, it is a mistake BMRCL is doing and it is injustice.
- Now they are blackmailing and threatened the congregation that they will take the temporary land acquisition as permanent is shere gross of ATROCITY.
- There is another one station next to vellara is Langford town which is 700 mts away. Why two station in 700 mt distance. What's the footfall ratio for this station. So if they move the vellara station by few meters the whole school and church and church land will be spared. Since the area is not so thickly populated, we can avoid one station and save the all Saints Church and the trees and school and land and green cover and save the tax payers money to the tune of around 50crores
- BMRCL needs to validate the need for one station- Langford town(station of ghosts as it is going to serve the cemetery). one side it is army land and the other side few residents and cemetery. The road connect to the station from Langford town is one way. So BMRCL should explain this too
Will BMRCL which failed miserably in the planning, give a relook in to the points and Get back to the larger community of All Saints Church congregation
