Thank you all so much for your support. Thanks to you, we have now hit over half a million signatures on this petition and helped show the Government the strength of feeling about this scandal, even amongst people who have not been directly affected by it!

But I still need your help. This weekend, former Post Office Chairman Henry Staunton alleged that the Government had told him to ‘stall’ on compensation payments to wrongly convicted postmasters in order to let the Government ‘limp through’ to the next election.

That isn’t right, and I need your help to send the Government a message.

Will you take 2 minutes out of your day to phone the Department for Business and Trade on 0204 551 0011? All you need to do is tell them that you think it’s unacceptable for the Government to delay compensation for sub-postmasters, and that they should work to expedite full and fair compensation as they have previously promised. I have been offered just 15% of what my professionally quantified claim is - and Alan Bates himself has only been offered 16%!

You don’t need to get into an argument - and please be polite to civil servants who are just doing their job!
