Lets show Brian we'll always support him, whatever the managers decide.

Lewis Carnie and his Radio 2 management team kicked a good man when he was down when they sacked Brian from Sounds Of The Sixties. Then they persistently lied to cover up their disgraceful behaviour. Nearly 10,000 listeners so far have spoken up in this petition, and many more have supported Brian and the show in other ways. The managers' response has been to kick our show back to a less sociable time of the morning, from 6 to 8am on a Saturday, to be presented by Tony Blackburn, to whom I wish the best of luck. They have also repeated yet again the brazen lie that Brian "stepped down due to ill health", which we all know has been denied by the man himself in no uncertain terms. Their behaviour is beyond contempt. I suggest, if possible, that we may still do our best to reach 10,000 signatures on this petition, as a tribute to Brian, before he broadcasts his last SOTS show on Feb 25th. It is good to know we can look forward to some more occasional shows with Brian on bank holidays.
