PLEASE READ BELOW: Grand Canyon Bison Management Act 1501.Short title This title may be cited as the Grand Canyon Bison Management Act. 1502.Definitions In this title: (1)Management plan The term management plan means the management plan published under section 1503(a). (2)Park The term Park means the Grand Canyon National Park. (3)Secretary The term Secretary means the Secretary of the Interior. (4)Skilled public volunteer The term skilled public volunteer means an individual who possesses— (A)a valid hunting license issued by the State of Arizona; and (B)such other qualifications as the Secretary may require, after consultation with the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. 1503.Bison management plan for Grand Canyon National Park (a)Publication of plan Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall publish a management plan to reduce, through humane lethal culling by skilled public volunteers and by other nonlethal means, the population of bison in the Park that the Secretary determines are detrimental to the use of the Park.
