As we approach International Women's Day on March 8th, Canada is making headlines across the pond for its sexist national anthem. Check out this article in The Guardian. And yet, according to the website for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada, "Canada is a world leader in the promotion and protection of women's rights and gender equality." Really???
