Ofgem have announced a reduction in the price cap to come into place from April 2026! I've written an article above, explaining the headline figure change as well as the specific changes to unit rates and standing charges. 

Please note: further reductions are possible through a switch to a fixed rate tariff. The cheapest tariff in the market at the moment is the Fuse Energy February 2026 Fixed (13m) V1 available exclusively through Uswitch - only available until midnight tonight! Please don't waste any time if you're looking to switch.
