Minister Popham visits free range egg farms
Oct 2, 2017 — Hi everyone,
While I was attending an event today Lana Popham approached me and was excited to tell me about her recent trip to a free range egg farm in Abbotsford.
She described the farm to give plenty of space to the hens and include an open door to the outdoors for the hens to come and go as they please. She continued by saying "This is exactly what the standard should be!"
I of course agreed. I thinks it's very hopeful to see our Agricultural Minister continuing to stay engaged with cage-free activists after our meeting. I'm really encouraged by this and thought I'd let all of you know. It proves that this issue is high on the list of our Minister's priorities!
I've considered visiting some of these farms myself and if I do get something arranged I would be thrilled to bring one of you along with me.
If you have any ideas on how we can continue to move forward I'd love to hear your thoughts in an email. I'm always open to questions and concerns too: firstname.lastname@example.org
