Multinational Ground Force assisting the Kurd YPG and YPJ

According to RT and French media, France has embedded Special Forces soldiers to fight Daesh alongside the YPG and YPJ. Their presence is reported around Manjib in the Raqqa province. Besides the French the YPG and YPJ are also hosting Us Special Forces, some of whom wore YPG patches until Turkey complained to the US State Department. While only conjecture at this point it would make sense that the British SASR and the Australian/NZ SASR will have a presence in the area and also likely to be supporting the YPG. All of this is exciting as it means the Kurdish led SDF is finally getting the commitment it wanted, both material and moral from the West. It further legitimizes the legality of the Federalist administration in Rojava as an established democratic and secular Government. A Government now in the process of establishing civil services such as power, water, education, humanitarian services, health and law and order in areas previously terrorized by Daesh. Seems odd, that while France, the United States and Russia recognize the YPG and work actively with the Rojava administration, Australia continues to lag behind and cower under the shadow of Turkey. The situation is very clear, the war with Daesh is coming to its final chapter, the victory will be largely due to the efforts of the YPG and the YPJ. To not exempt the YPG under the Foreign Fighters legislation is now purely a matter of personal prejudice on the part of the Australian Government. Mr Brandis has the power to exempt the YPG and with one stroke of the pen remove the unjust "criminal tag" put on the martyrs Ashley Johnston, Reece Harding and Jamie Bright and allow Ashley Dyball, Matt Gardiner and others to carry on with their lives without fear of prosecution.
