Dear Signers,

This is a most disappointing moment for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, as Democrats untie to pass a truly disastrous "Inflation Reduction Act"!! 

It does not reduce inflation, does not address climate change in a meaningful ACCOUNTABLE  manner, will place much money in unaccountable pockets and is an appeasement compromise with the OIL AND FOSSIL FUEL INDUSTRY. 

We are most disappointed in the large number of "Environmental Organizations" willing to accept this crumb, that have caved into its deception. For those history buffs, this is just like the Munich Agreement that led to WWII. This Act(Bill, Law) is a talking head moment, whose substance is betrayal of true forward progress for climate change deceleration. Like the Munich Agreement this ACT of Appeasement gives the enemy time to continue with current policies that will make facing reality much costlier in terms of lives and environmental damage. For us on the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge front it gives nothing, but hope that Oil Companies will find the oil leases offered in the "Inflation Reduction Disaster" more appetizing along the Gulf Coast and help keep them from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. As we all know they have destroyed the Gulf Coast on numerous occasions previously so maybe there is some consolation in that.

All that said three actions you can take:

1. Hold Environmental Organizations that support the "Inflation Reduction Act" responsible for caving in to such a disastrous conclusion of a long fight.
2. Call your Senators over the weekend to their message lines( search for their D.C. numbers in Google) and ask that an amendment to provide protection for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge be included in the "Inflation Reduction Act" before they vote on it.
