I have spoken to both my Loan officer and the Manager of the financial institution I am working with, I have been advised the review date for my application is on the 8th of August this year, and will not change later than that date. An understanding was reached of the urgency in processing my application as it's essentially impossible to work with the ground during the winter.
I have recieved a few letters of support in my email (Residents, Conmee, Businessn, Thunder Bay Co-op, to list a few), as well as participants in my change.org petition, and contributions to my gofundme fundraiser. Each of these efforts displays community support for my business and loan application, increasing my chances at obtaining approval with the board of directors reviewing my application. Unfortunately changing between all the deadlines I have missed out obtaining a current letter from Gillies. So if anyone out there would like to show support in any of the aforementioned means it would be greatly appreciated. I have until the 26th of July to obtain all community support efforts and relay that information to my loan officer.
The only major costs to my application is 1. Constructing fibre access to for me to utilize for current connectivity and access to more bandwidth in the future for expansion, and 2. Equipment to deploy fibre in a fast and efficient manner, direct into the ground to avoid damage from trees, etc as well as equipment to run fibre beneath roadways. Fibre is fairly cheap to deploy with the technology I would be utilizing, allowing expansion to occur at a much more cost effective and rapid rate, expecially when I can deploy it independently keeping costs low. The faster I increase coverage and my customers base, the more rapidly expansion can take place.
Expanding with fibre allows me to report to the government my coverage, in a much more rapid and efficient process versus the significantly daunting/overwhelming wireless coverage mapping. By submitting fibre coverage the government will be able to easily identify my network area, expansion efforts, and potentially allocate funding in the future if further opportunities arise.
