Appeal to the State of Israel: Protecting Civilians in Rojava Is a Humanitarian Responsibility

To the Government and Parliament of the State of Israel,

We, the undersigned—civilians, humanitarian activists, members of the Kurdish people, and supporters of human rights—address this urgent appeal regarding the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the regions of Rojava.

Civilians in Rojava are facing repeated attacks and terrorist threats that target innocent people, children, and civilian infrastructure, amid alarming international silence.

The Kurdish people, who have paid a heavy price in the fight against terrorism, firmly believe in the right of all peoples to live in safety and dignity. We also recognize that the State of Israel has long suffered from terrorism and understands its dangers and consequences.

Accordingly, we respectfully call upon the State of Israel to:

Use its political and diplomatic influence to help protect civilians in Rojava
Raise the issue of violations against civilians in Rojava in international forums
Support humanitarian and human rights efforts aimed at protecting the population
Take a clear and principled stand against any terrorist targeting of civilians, without justification

This appeal is humanitarian, peaceful, and lawful. It does not call for violence or war, but for the protection of human life and the prevention of crimes against civilians.

Protecting civilians is not a political alignment—it is a humanitarian duty.
