My family would like to thank everybody who has signed so far, and encourage you to share it in honour of Apollo. To those who shared it because they, too, lost a cat in a road accident, I'd like to offer my condolences.

It's been difficult learning to live without Apollo, but with the help of our kitten Ares, we're slowly getting used to it. Unfortunately, however, we are now learning to live without our cat, Minnie.

Minnie passed away a little under two weeks after Apollo. We made the decision to put her down as it was the best decision for her and she had little chance of survival either way, and no chance of living a pain-free life even if she could be saved. 

As much as we miss them both, we acknowledge that Minnie and Apollo served their purpose. Apollo's purpose was to give Minnie the chance to love a kitten as her own. Minnie's was to have the chance to love a kitten. The two of them were exceptionally close and I'm glad that neither of them has to live without the other.

Saying that, today marks three weeks since Apollo passed away. Three weeks of a new life. Three weeks without my son. But more importantly, three weeks of being able to see what amazing friends I have - so if you're one of my friends, I seriously owe you everything <3
