Dear animal defender,
Greg here. I’m writing this on my phone from the field. I’m in the area right now, waiting to meet an informant who says there’s a dog slaughterhouse operating nearby.
He’s described scenes that are almost too awful to believe. Dogs being killed. Their heads burned. The remains turned into soup.
He says you can smell the smoke from the road and hear the cries before you even reach the gate.
It’s horrific. And we’re not standing by.
Our investigators are here now, working with trusted local contacts and preparing our next steps carefully and safely. We’ve done this before. When we move in, we make sure it counts.
If we raise enough by the end of play tonight, we’ll be able to move in within days and shut this place down for good.
Many animal defenders have already given, and we’re so grateful. But we’re nearly there.
