Hi Cash Lovers,
Sure, most people in Australia don't use cash every single day, but everyone needs cash at some stage.
The big four banks and the Reserve Bank of Australia are planning for a cashless Australia within 10 years but the full implications of going cashless have yet to be discussed by our policy-makers.
If there is no cash available in Australia, there can be no guarantee of privacy for people who want to keep their location private.
Every digital purchase leaves a digital footprint. You can be traced and tracked down if you don't have access to cash.
The banks are concerned with their costs and profits, not the privacy and safety of Australians. Government needs to confirm that cash is here to stay forever.
Our Cash Welcome campaign provides a voice for all of us who trust and rely on cash.
I get donations from people and businesses to my gofundme account to help keep this backlash against their cashless agenda alive.
