Markham Mayor Object to Outdoor Skating Proposal

A motion was put forward by the Markham Ward 3 councillor to have the outdoor skating issue put on the General Committee Meeting on June 16.  There, I made a deputation in the council chamber and Mayor Scarpetti vehemently rejected the initiative so as a result outdoor skating on natural ponds and bodies of water in Markham remains restricted.
