In the mean time here is a form letter I typed up that can be sent to channel 7 news as I already have an investigative producer interested in doing a story he's just waiting on approval from his manager.  Let's show channel 7 news how important this story is to the people of Lynn and get out into the light the corruption at city hall! 

"Dear Channel 7 News, I am a concerned citizen of the City of Lynn, in 2020 the city passed (without public vote or hearing) an ordinance which forces homeowners in multifamily homes containing as few as 2 units to register as rental properties. Paying annual fees for registration, renewal, inspection, as well as a $300 A DAY fine for non compliance. 75% of these fees are going to a third party contractor "SafeBuilt" who is administering and enforcing the ordinance.  There are no exemptions or provisions for owner occupied family dwellings.  Please help bring this issue to the public eye."
